We are seeking an experienced, inspirational and dynamic Head of Infants (Prep 1 & 2) to provide strategic leadership across our Infant Department. This is a key leadership role within the school, offering the opportunity to shape the educational experience of our youngest pupils and play an active role in whole-school development.
The successful candidate will be a trusted member of the School’s Leadership Team and will lead by example, maintaining high standards of teaching, learning and pastoral care. In addition to departmental leadership responsibilities, the role includes teaching as a Form Teacher within the Infant Department on a reduced timetable.
Working closely with the Head and Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Infants will support and develop staff, oversee assessment and curriculum delivery, promote excellent teaching practice and ensure a positive, supportive environment for pupils and colleagues. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with parents, pupils and staff are essential.
