Fixed Term, Maternity Cover - Full or Part Time
The Paragon School, Bath is seeking to appoint a temporary Teacher of Swimming and Games on a full or part time (0.8) basis to join our junior school from September 2026 to July 2027.
The main purpose of this role is to teach and to promote the physical education, health, fitness of all pupils. The post holder will provide a stable, secure and supportive teaching environment. Responsible for the pastoral care of each pupil and the development of their social and sporting potential, maintaining and developing good relationships with colleagues, pupils and parents throughout the school. Will need to hold a recognised swimming teaching qualification; Swim England Level 2 or STA.

The Paragon is an independent, co-educational day school based in a beautiful Georgian house a mile from the centre of Bath. Catering for more than 250 children aged three to 11, we offer a broad curriculum taught in small classes by teachers with a real passion for their subject. The school comprises Squirrels Pre-School, a Pre-Prep and Prep School. The Paragon is the junior school of Prior Park College and part of the Prior Park Schools family which also includes Prior Park School in Gibraltar.
